Tools for mounting sensors

In fact, the horizontal FOV of our sensors is slightly larger than the vertical FOV. But we only specify the horizontal FOV in our guide and assume that the vertical FOV is the same. The only case you need to keep in mind that there are differences in horizontal and vertical FOV is that sensors should be installed in checkerboard order according to their larger FOV (which is marked by an arrow on the camera back). (refer to pg.5, paragraph 2, checkerboard order).
The larger the field of view the larger the area of the space that can be tracked. Thus tracking area depends on sensor installation height (refer to Sensor Installation Height table).
Each sensor is marked with an arrow that represents its horizontal (larger) FOV.

To ensure accurate space tracking and measurement, you need to install the right amount of Friday PM sensors above that space with respect to its FOV. (The sensor is designed for indoor use only)

To ensure full coverage of the space where more than one sensor is required, they should be installed with the overlap of their FOV’s.
It is recommended to install sensors in arrow checkerboard order.
